For some obscure reason, when you&#039;re talking about your whereabouts in NZ, you are either &#039;in&#039; the North Island or &#039;in&#039; the South Island.

I have no idea why, but it&#039;s a kiwi thing I&#039;ve been noticing lately.

(i love otago because it&#039;s beautiful and wild and clean, but the population isn&#039;t enough to support what i&#039;d like to do)</description>
