Neat !
Of course I spent much of my high school and college years being scared to death of chainsaws. They are fast - but I prefer the manual cross cut saw and hiring a professional arborist when the really big job shows up
check these out -nice!

whole host of other courses, some of which cover Fencing

Fencing. Fencing? Oh, as in building fences. Not as in bouncing around with a rapier in one hand and the other hand jauntily on your hip and head encased in a metal grill. 'Cause I was confused about when you'd need that in rural NZ, unless neighbor feuds are commonly resolved by duels. Maybe they duel with chainsaws instead?

Congrats on your badassery!

Ha ha! I am 100% sure that you now know vastly more about chainsaws than my dad, who unfortunately didn't let that stop him from sawing several main splits of willow trees onto and around the home I grew up in. Actually, I don't think he ever did any property damage, but he did whack his leg once -- pretty scary.
